Simon Steel serves as Counsel to SSC. Simon is a Co-Chair of the Appellate Litigation Practice at Dentons US LLP, and a former law clerk to Supreme Court Justices Breyer and O’Connor and former Special Counsel to the Federal Trade Commission. Simon’s legal practice encompasses Supreme Court and other federal appellate litigation, federal economic, energy and environmental regulation, and a broad range of pro bono work. He has published articles on various U.S. legal topics, including the National Environmental Policy Act and natural resource damages.
