As a research analyst for the Smart Surfaces Coalition, Robert is interested in exploring how the costs and benefits of smart solutions are quantified. Specifically, Robert will be researching the similarities and differences in value creation between the deployment of urban solar and remote utility scale solar solutions.

Robert received a Bachelor of Arts at Harvard University where he majored in Environmental Science & Public Policy, with a minor in Economics. During his time at Harvard, he took many classes that focused on the relationship between the public and private sector in developing financially feasible renewable energy projects and other sustainable solutions. He also has experience in the design and deployment of smart surface rooftop technologies, having designed a standard green roof for New York City’s Department of Parks and Recreation.

Robert is extremely excited to contribute to the research that Smart Surfaces Coalitions has been carrying out and improve upon his own skills in sustainable finance.
