Smart Surfaces Scholar

With his fellow scholars, Pranav is co-leading a study to understand the link between tourism and increasing global surface temperatures. Currently focused on two states in India, their research methodology has the potential to be applied in other regions worldwide.

With a strong foundation in both statistics and computer science, Pranav brings an interdisciplinary approach to his diverse professional roles. This past summer, Pranav completed a machine learning internship at NASA, where he was instrumental in advancing key aerospace projects. Furthermore, he currently serves as a portfolio manager at the Kenan-Flagler Business School, leveraging his quantitative background to drive strategic initiatives and contribute to the fund’s growth.

Pranav is a Morehead-Cain Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, pursuing a double major in Biostatistics and Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics.
