Phoebe is a member of the media and communications team at the Smart Surfaces Coalition. In this capacity, she works to build awareness of smart surfaces and their effectiveness in mitigating climate change and making cities which deploy smart surface strategies cooler, healthier, and more livable.

Previously, Phoebe worked for the audience growth and reader engagement team at The McClatchy Company through Yale University's Paul Block Journalism Fellowship and has experience in publishing, curriculum development and digital strategy. 

From Atlanta, GA, Phoebe is a Mathematics & Computer Science major and Education Studies scholar at Yale University. At Yale, she is a staff reporter for the Yale Daily News and co-coordinator of the News' Summer Journalism Program. She has also served as publicity officer and programming committee chair for the Yale Symphony Orchestra, where she is a principal violinist.
