Jennifer Mcfarlane

Jennifer McFarlane serves as a board member and advisor to various companies focused on climate change including Cascade Energy and Blue Planet Systems. In addition, she is active in the non-profit sector through her role at a board member of Verra and as a Loan Committee of MCE Social Capital. She has a distinguished executive career building multiple climate-tech companies including NEXTracker and LanzaTech. Her commitment to climate change began in the late 1990s when she spearheaded a sustainability strategy for a public Australian energy company.
From 1998-2018, Ms. McFarlane served as an executive in a number of public and private companies in the climate tech, energy and health tech sectors. As a CFO, Jennifer specialized in achieving rapid revenue growth through securing financing and strategic partnerships and driving organizational transformation.
Prior to her executive career, Jennifer was an investment banker advising Fortune 500 clients at Salomon Brothers (now Citi) as well as numerous emerging market governments while at KPMG.
Jennifer is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and was appointed a C3E Ambassador by the Department of Energy. She holds an MBA from Stanford University and BSc/LLB from University of NSW
