Jackie Roberts

Independent Board Member and Senior ESG/Sustainability Advisor, Former Chief Sustainability Officer, The Carlyle Group

Jackie Roberts recently completed two different roles as Chief Sustainability Officer, for AppHarvest 2020-2022, and The Carlyle Group, where she served as Managing Director and Chief Sustainability Officer for 6 years overseeing integration of ESG risks and opportunities in the investment process. Prior to that role, she served in leadership roles at the Environmental Defense Fund with expertise in areas of corporate sustainability, clean energy solutions, innovative technologies and the connections between economic development and clean energy policy. Previously, Ms. Roberts worked as a chemical engineer for the U.S. EPA and a Senior Research Fellow at Harvard Business School.

Ms. Roberts is an independent Board member for Alcoa Corporation, and PurposeBuilt Brands LLC. She is a Senior ESG Advisor for Hunter Point Capital and Capitol Meridian Partners, and a Senior Advisor for The Climate Board.
