Greg Spotts serves as Director of Seattle Department of Transportation. Greg’s former initiatives as Chief Sustainability Officer for StreetsLA with the City of Los Angeles included Cool Streets LA, launching LA’s first cloud-based street tree inventory, legalizing sidewalk and park vending, and purchasing the region's first electric-powered motor sweepers. Greg oversaw more than 600 staff in the Engineering, Street Maintenance, Urban Forestry, and Investigation and Enforcement Divisions. Greg completed a BA in political science from Yale and a Masters in Public Policy at UCLA, with a Leaders In Sustainability Certificate.
