Caroline Wiygul is a Policy Research Intern for the Smart Surfaces Coalition. Her work supports the Cities for Smart Surfaces program through the policy tracker and the Federal Funding and Community Support working groups.
Prior to joining the Smart Surfaces Coalition, Caroline served as a Conservation Coordinator for an urban land trust in Chattanooga, Tennessee, where she managed a hiking and bouldering park, community orchard, and greenhouse facility. She is currently a grant writer and community garden steward for the Food Forest Coalition of Chattanooga.
Caroline holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies and English from the University of Colorado and a Master's of Science in Landscape and Wellbeing from the University of Edinburgh.
