Anna is a Project Coordinator for the Smart Surfaces Coalition. In her role, she supports the Peer Learning Network and Cool Roadways Partnership to help cities implement Smart Surfaces by organizing presentations on climate adaptation solutions and providing research support on municipal policies and codes, as well as technical specifications for Smart Surface strategies. She also creates policy guidance, memos, and resources related to permeable paving, urban tree canopy, and public financing strategies, among other topics.

Before joining SSC, she worked at American Rivers on the Institutional Advancement team, where she assisted in the development and execution of foundation fundraising strategies.

She has a B.A. from the University of Michigan and a M.A. in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University, where she conducted her master's thesis on municipal green bonds.
