Ally is a Media Coordinator and Executive Assistant for Smart Surfaces Coalition, where she focuses on expanding the organization's voice, fostering community partnerships, and providing crucial administrative support to the CEO.

With a background in climate communications at the Sabin Center for Climate Change Law, Ally played a key role in strategic social media planning, website management, and content development. Prior to this, she served as a California Climate Action Corps Fellow, spearheading the implementation of a food recovery program in Watsonville, CA requiring large businesses to donate excess food to local food banks. 

Ally graduated with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and Legal Studies from UC Santa Cruz, where her research explored the intersection of law and intergenerational justice. She recently earned her Master’s degree in Climate and Society from Columbia University, where she gained valuable tools for equitable climate mitigation, sustainable development, and strategic communications.
