Julie Katzman
Former COO of The Inter-American Development Bank
Julie T. Katzman is the former COO of the Inter-American Development Bank. As its chief operating officer, Katzman has overseen the Bank’s efforts to help Latin American and Caribbean countries reduce poverty and inequality by financing sustainable development in the region.
Katzman served as General Manager of the Multilateral Investment Fund, which provides grants that support private sector-led development benefiting low income populations. Earlier in her career, Katzman was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and a founder of Violy, Byorum & Partners, an investment bank focused on Latin America.
Katzman has served on a number of corporate and not for profit boards. Currently, she serves on the Boards of the MacArthur Foundation, the International Center for Research on Women and Instituto de Empresa and is a member of the International Council on Women's Business Leadership (ICWBL).
