Ryan is a current graduate student at Georgetown University pursuing a Master’s degree in Environment and Sustainability Management. His academic research has spanned topics such as regional carbon dioxide mitigation through solar, sustainable lithium extraction, and illegal wildlife trade. He is deeply committed to enhancing urban resilience to address climate change, aiming to create livable cities for all.

At Smart Surfaces Coalition, he will support the Cities for Smart Surfaces program, assisting the Data, Policy, and Federal Funding Working Groups, and carry out research on Smart Surface policy and technology interventions.
