Eric is a Washington, DC-based policy research intern at Smart Surfaces Coalition, who engages in comprehensive research and analysis focused on integrating Smart Surface technologies and policies. Before joining the Smart Surfaces Coalition, Eric participated in geospatial and biogeochemistry labs that allowed him to explore the effects of climate change on urban environments in the DMV, as well as study pollutants in the Anacostia watershed.
Eric is pursuing a M.Sc. in Environmental Metrology & Policy at Georgetown University and holds a B.Sc in Environmental Science from American University, where he gained practical experience in risk assessment and fieldwork, including a study abroad program at the University of Queensland, Australia.
